The noodle soups, like the prawn dumplings egg noodle or the warming chicken pho, stand out as soul-soothing options that satisfy deeply.

Beyond the food, the experience is enhanced by genuinely warm hospitality and thoughtful accommodation for dietary needs, as reflected in feedback from vegan diners who appreciate the chef’s willingness to adapt dishes without compromising quality or taste. The portions are generous, offering great value, and the staff's attentiveness makes for a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.

My first visit to Lemongrass was 2 weeks ago, I'd just returned from a 17 hour overseas trip. I wasn't hungry at 8pm, when my Mom picked me up from the airport. By 9:30pm I was hungry! Wondering where I was going to find anything decent open so late. Searched "vegan food open near me" and Lemongrass was a 6 minute drive and open until 11pm. I drove immediately, knowing I wanted to eat there, and not keep the staff late. I asked which Soup would be able to be made vegan, Chef said the Tofu Sweetcorn soup, which I enjoyed. Generous portion to start. I also requested the salt and pepper tofu salad bowl, which was a beautiful, fresh selection of crunchy salad ingredients. Generous portions, great value for money. Sweet staff, very welcoming. Thank you Chef for accommodating my dietary request. Ive now eaten here three times (this evening I brought my Mom) the past two weeks and each time has been perfect, food fresh, portions generous.

There is no possible way I can overstate this, but the Banh Mi here blow every single roll I've had across Adelaide so completely out of the water that it's has basically ruined my lunch options because everytime I have one I am wishing I was eating one from Lemongrass. The flavour was so unbelievably good that it drowned out the fact I had to listen to "Hello Vietnam" by Quynh Anh on repeat for the duration of our dining experience. If that doesn't sell this sandwhich, nothing will. Soup was good too

We had lunch here today, our first visit and it definitely won't be our last. The food was so good, generous proportions and good value. Our Chicken Satay Skewers were up there with the best we've eaten. We followed with 2 sizzling dishes. We chose Sizzling Garlic Chilli Prawns and Sizzling Mongolian Beef and couldn't fault either dish. The steamed rice was a good choice to accompany our meal. The staff were very welcoming. We will be back.

Delicious food, friendly service! Inside a bit dated but I didn't mind. Quick service and very reasonable prices. The salt and pepper tofu was amazing! Even my fussy toddler loved it!

Staff are friendly, food was tasty, portions are a good size, it's good value for money, he only thing that lets it down is it needs to be updated or spruced up a bit , we are regular visitors to Vietnam and mainly eat street food , but it's a little different in Australia, overall the food was great.

Hands down the tastiest Pad Thai and satay chicken skewers I’ve ever had. Lemongrass Vietnamese is a hidden gem. The flavours are bold, perfectly balanced, and undeniably authentic. The Pad Thai is generous in portion, packed with fresh veggies, and the noodles have that perfect texture, not too heavy, not too light, all coated in a rich, tangy-sweet sauce that hits every note. The satay chicken skewers are tender, grilled to perfection, and smothered in a thick, fragrant peanut sauce that’s pure heaven. Even as takeaway, everything arrives fresh, warm, and beautifully presented — it tastes like it just came out of the kitchen. Consistency is key!! Literally every visit delivers the same high-quality experience. If you’re craving something truly satisfying, this place delivers!!

Last night, around 9:00 pm, my family and I stopped in at a quiet, peaceful Vietnamese ????????restaurant near Port Adelaide’s Old Port Road. We noticed it was past rush hour and the place wasn’t very busy—just the sort of calm mealtime vibe we appreciated after a full day. Even so, the moment we stepped inside, we felt a warm welcome. The interior had a classic yet elegant Vietnamese-style decor: simple wooden tables, soft lantern lighting, and traditional wall accents that instantly transported us to the spirit of Vietnam. My wife, our two kids, and I were greeted by genuinely friendly staff who offered a warm welcome and seated us in a spot that was just cozy enough for a quiet family dinner. The children settled in comfortably, while we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and gentle hum of soft conversation and occasional plating sounds in the kitchen. We chose to begin with a chicken soup starter that arrived steaming hot and fragrant. It was light yet flavorful—just what we needed to wake up our taste buds without being heavy. For mains, we ordered chicken fried rice and a hearty mixed-meat chicken noodle soup combo. The fried rice was beautifully fluffy, each grain caramelised just enough around the edges—rich in chicken and mild spices but very kid‑friendly. The noodles came in a deep bowl brimming with tender chicken bits, pork, and aromatic broth, with fresh herbs floating on top that added brightness to each spoonful. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious and generous the portions were—definitely beyond what we’d expected in terms of both taste and size. Each dish tasted clean, fresh, and carefully made. My kids looked happy, mouthful after mouthful—it’s always a relief when even the pickiest eaters are delighted. As we dined, the evening light dimmed slowly through the windows, and the place remained quiet except for the soft clinks of cutlery and the faint Vietnamese music playing in the background—creating a serene, undistracted setting for our family meal. When the bill arrived, we were even more delighted: the overall price was very reasonable, especially given the quality of food, portion size, and considerate service. It felt like exceptional value for money in that neighbourhood, where most Vietnamese spots around Old Port Road tend to bill similarly but with less attention to detail. The staff checked in once, then let us enjoy the rest of our meal at a relaxing pace. All in all, it was a truly nice experience—a perfect trio of quiet ambiance, thoughtful family service, and flavourful, well-made food. We left feeling full, happy, and grateful to have found such a peaceful gem for dining with our children in Port Adelaide. Thank you
